This is the second time in three weeks that the Ghanaian housemate has been nominated and survived eviction. She was up for eviction together with Michael, Sharon O, Vina and Bernadina.

Sunday’s eviction was as usual another exciting show full of nervy moments and drama.

As usual, the Head of House, Vimbai was called upon by host of the show, IK, to formally announce who she was saving and who she is putting in place of the one she was saving.

She boldly disclosed that she was saving Hanni and replacing her with the “dishonest” housemate, Michael.

FIFA CRISIS: Anger as Blatter avoids questions over allegations at press briefing

                                                          Fifa president
Sepp Blatter has remained defiant in the face of fresh allegations, claiming that the recent claims of Lord Triesman and a Sunday newspaper do not require any further proceedings.
Speaking to a packed press hall, the head of FIFA, spoke slowly and purposefully as he delivered the news that few had expected.
Blatter said: 'I regret what has happened. In the days and weeks, great damage to the image of FIFA. There is disappointment for the football fans. I am speaking to the football fans.
'The ethics have returned their decision. I have no right to comment on it. But there have been one or two points of which I want to inform you.
'The EXCO was very pleased to receive the report of the FA regarding the allegations made by Lord David Triesman against four FIFA committee members.
'We were happy that we can confirm that there are no elements that would even prompt any proceedings, but for the sake of transparency, but we have agreed that a comprehensive summary of these would be published. The summary can be read on FIFA.com.
'Furthermore we were happy also that we haven’t received any evidence from the Sunday Times or from any announced whistle blower with regards allegations against two other EXCO members.
‘Therefore the same - what shall we do? Nothing. The World Cup 2022 is not touched, nor is the World Cup 2018.
FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke has confirmed that an email he sent suggesting the 2022 World Cup was 'bought' was genuine - but insisted he was referring to Qatar using their 'financial strength' to legitimately lobby for votes.
The email to Jack Warner about was made public by the banned FIFA vice-president in a blistering attack by the Trinidadian on the world governing body yesterday.

It referred to Mohamed Bin Hammam, the Qatari who had announced he was standing against Sepp Blatter for FIFA president.
Valcke wrote: 'For MBH, I never understood why he was running. If really he thought he had a chance or just being an extreme way to express how much he does not like anymore JSB [Blatter]. Or he thought you can buy FIFA as they bought the WC.'
In a statement released today, Valcke stated: 'Mr Warner has published an email which I sent to him. I'd like to clarify that I may use in an email - a 'lighter' way of expression by nature - a much less formal tone than in any form of correspondence.
'Having said that, when I refer to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in that email, what I wanted to say is that the winning bid used their financial strength to lobby for support.

'They were a candidate with a very important budget and have used it to heavily promote their bid all around the world in a very efficient manner.
'I have at no time made, or was intending to make, any reference to any purchase of votes or similar unethical behaviour.
'I would also like to clarify that there is, as I said yesterday, no investigation open at FIFA regarding the 2022 FIFA World Cup host election.'
Qatar 2022 responded by saying 'Mr Valcke's statement [to Warner] was clearly taken out of context but again Qatar's name has been dragged through the mud for absolutely no reason.

'We would like to reaffirm we won the World Cup bid with the best campaign and without breaching FIFA rules.'

Meanwhile, Warner issued a statement welcoming the fact that FIFA had cleared him of claims by Lord Triesman that he had asked for cash or favours in return for supporting England's 2018 World Cup bid.

The statement said: 'Tod

ay, I regained some hope in the power of truth and transparency. The report of the independent investigator on the allegations of Lord Triesman has proven once again that whenever the truth is told, people will always be able to have their names exonerated.

'It must have pained Mr Blatter and Mr Valcke to read this report. But the fact which cannot be changed is as Valcke declared 'all four are completely clean'.

'It is because of this complete cleanness why Sir Dave Richards, who is no friend of mine, can say truthfully that he has never heard me ask for money or ask for funds to be channelled through me.'

FIFA's concerns deepened with the announcement from two major sponsors that the on-going claims and counter claims. Coca-Cola and adidas are united in a belief that the bickering has to stop.
A Coca-Cola spokesperson said: 'The current allegations being raised are distressing and bad for the sport. We have every expectation that FIFA will resolve this situation in an expedient and thorough manner.'
An adidas spokesman said: 'Adidas enjoys a long-term, close and successful partnership with FIFA that we are looking forward to continuing.
'Adidas will be an official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. Having said that, the negative tenor of the public debate around FIFA at the moment is neither good for football nor for FIFA and its partners.'

FIFA CRISIS: Qatar's Bin Hammam accused of buying 2022 World Cup

Suspended Fifa vice-president Jack Warner has made public an e-mail that claims Mohamed Bin Hammam "bought" the 2022 World Cup finals for Qatar.Fifa secretary general

Jerome Valcke admitted he sent the e-mail, which also questioned why Asian football boss Bin Hammam was running for Fifa president.

Valcke wrote: "[Hammam] thought you can buy Fifa as they bought the World Cup."
The Qatar 2022 World Cup bid team has issued a statement "categorically denying any wrong-doing" over the bid.
"We are urgently seeking clarification from Fifa about the statement from their General Secretary," continued the Qatar officials' statement.
"In the meantime we are taking legal advice to consider our options."
As the then president of the Asian Football Confederation, Bin Hammam was technically neutral in the 2022 World Cup bid process as three other AFC nations, South Korea, Japan and Australia, were also in the running.
However, as a Qatari national, the 62-year-old openly supported his homeland with their successful bid.
Bin Hammam responded to Valcke's allegations that he "bought" the 2022 World Cup for Qatar by telling BBC Sport on Monday: "I don't know why he [Valcke] has said that."
Bin Hammam added: "If I was paying money for Qatar you also have to ask the 13 people who voted for Qatar."
When asked whether Valcke's allegation was true, Bin Hammam replied: "What do you think?"
Valcke stressed that his e-mail to Warner was intended to remain "private" and pointed out that Warner had only published selected parts of it.
"He [Warner] sent me an email asking if I want that [Bin Hammam to run for Fifa president], he said that I should ask Bin Hammam to pull out," Valcke added.
Valcke also denied that he had influenced Fifa's ethics committee, which suspended Warner and Bin Hammam on Sunday over separate allegations of bribery, pending further investigation.

The Fifa secretary general stated: "The first time I met the chairman of the ethics committee was yesterday [Sunday] at 1700 [BST] before we went to the press conference. I had no contact at all with anyone."
Later on Monday Valcke released a statement to explain the e-mail exchange with Warner.
"They [Qatar] were a candidate with a very important budget and have used it to heavily promote their bid all around the world in a very efficient manner," said Valcke.
"I have at no time made, or was intending to make, any reference to any purchase of votes or similar unethical behaviour."
Bin Hammam was suspended a matter of hours after withdrawing from the Fifa presidential race on Sunday morning.

His decision leaves 75-year-old incumbent Sepp Blatter, who is seeking a fourth term in charge of the organisation he has run unopposed since 1998, as the only man running for the office. Blatter is due to hold a news conference on Monday at 1700 BST.
Fifa has said its election will go ahead, as scheduled, on Wednesday.
Warner, who is president of the North, Central American and Caribbean confederation (Concacaf), has reacted angrily to the allegations of bribery and the Fifa ethics committee's decision to suspend him.
The Trinidad and Tobago government minister raged: "I look on the suspension as the worst form of justice by any sporting organisation.
"They came premeditated, they weren't prepared to listen, they were hand-picked to do a task and they did just that.
"The guys were hand-picked by Blatter. A kangaroo court would be a decent thing to say."
Warner, who also turned on Valcke, stated: "I wrote to Valcke telling him, among other things, that the outcome of the [Fifa presidential] elections may cause some fracture in the Arab world which we can ill afford now and that I will like to ask Bin Hammam to withdraw from the race.

"To which Jerome replied to me and I quote: 'For MBH [Mohamad Bin Hammam], I never understood why he was running. If really he thought he had a chance or just being an extreme way to express how much he does not like anymore JSB [Joseph Sepp Blatter].

"Or he thought you can buy Fifa as they [Qatar] bought the WC [World Cup]'."
Warner showed the e-mail to television crews and added: "You don't have to believe me, you don't have to like me, nobody has to eat with me, drink with me or sleep with me but Jesus Christ, take the truth when you see it."
Warner has also accused Blatter of making a gift of computers and an unauthorised $1m (£607,000) to Concacaf officials.
"I indicated that at the Miami Concacaf Congress on 3 May Mr Blatter made a gift of $1m to Concacaf to spend as it deems fit," Warner said in a statement.
"This annoyed [Uefa] president Michel Platini who was present and he approached secretary general Jerome Valcke complaining that Mr Blatter had no permission from the finance committee to make this gift to which Jerome replied that he will find the money for Mr Blatter.

"I also indicated Fifa, through Mr Blatter, organised gifts of laptops and projectors to all members of the Caribbean and no objections have been made today of this to date."
However, Platini said on Monday that he was having a joke with Swiss Blatter.
The Frenchman said: "He [Blatter] can give [to] the projects that he wants to give. I joke, I said 'but Sepp this was not accepted by the committee' - but he can give many projects to many national associations and we will confirm in the GOAL project after.
"In many Congresses for many, many years the president can give one or two projects to national associations - he has his own budget and he can give to one confederation and then it has to be approved of course by the executive committee next time."
Blatter has denied any wrong-doing as have Warner and Hammam, who are accused of offering financial incentives to members of the Caribbean Football Union.

Arnold Schwarzenegger May Pay Out $200m In Divorce Battle

Since Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted to fathering a love child with his housekeeper over 10-years ago, it has been claimed that his wife of 25-years, Maria Shriver has already lined up a divorce attorney.
According to reports, Maria went straight to top celebrity lawyer, Laura Wasser who has represented the likes of Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears.
that the couple have been estimated at a worth of up to $400milliom so a divorce from his wife could cost Arnie big time.
It is thought that the couple have a pre-nup in place, but seeing as three mistresses have come forward so far, it is possible the agreement will get thrown out.
In that case, the couple's assets could be split 50-50, with Maria taking a whopping $200million from the Terminator star.
What do you think of Arnie's actions? Does his wife of 25-years deserve half of his fortune? That is a big question.www.facebook.com/emmanuelsamuko

Paul Samuel, SSII pupil, stabbed by Landlord

An SSII pupil of the Millennium Secondary School, Egbeda, Lagos, Paul Samuel, has been allegedly stabbed by his 35-year-old landlord, Olabode Ajayi. This is because he allegedly mediated in a dispute between his sister and Ajayi. The case, which is before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, is said to have Samuel as an accused person; something the family calls an anomaly that was done by the police. The incident, which took place at No. 20 Oloye Street, Ejigbo Road, Shasha, occurred on March 26. An elder brother to Samuel, Ebong Everbless, told CRIME DIGEST that this would not be the first time Ajayi would be involved in an incident like this.

Everbless, who makes a living as a computer operator, said he was at his work place that Saturday morning when he got a call from his sister that Samuel had been wounded, prompting him to rush back home.

“I have lived in that house for three years now and my siblings live with me. That very morning, my sister Faith was at the backyard washing some clothes when Ajayi showed up with a cutlass and started making threats. He went to the clothes line and took off all the clothes my sister had washed and threw them on the ground. When my sister started shouting, Samuel who was inside, rushed out of the house to his sister’s aid,” Everbless said.

Samuel’s action was said not to have gone down well with Ajayi who allegedly asked him if he wanted to die. Everbless said, “When Ajayi said that, Samuel turned to go back into the house only for Ajayi to hit him on the scapula with a cutlass.” Samuel was immediately rushed to the hospital by his siblings and other neighbours.

“I rushed home immediately I got the call and met Ajayi sitting outside; he did not say a word to me. I too did not talk to him and instead went to the Shasha Medical Centre, where Samuel had been taken too. It was after that I went to the Afonka Police Station Shasha to make a report,” Everbless said.

At the police station, while Everbless made his compliant, he saw Ajayi being walked in by a policeman. “I told the lady attending to me that Ajayi was the person I had come to complain about. Another brother of mine had come earlier to lodge a complaint and Ajayi was being arrested.” Unfortunately for Everbless, the police did not work as he expected. “I was shocked to see Ajayi back home some hours later and when it was obvious justice wasn’t forthcoming, I went to the Area G command Ogba to lodge another complaint.

Ajayi was rearrested, but released a week later on April 3, Everbless said.

“I was told by the IPO, one Corporal Bello handling the case not to make any more trouble with Ajayi; I should abandon any plan of taking the case to court. The case was eventually taken to court two days after I complained to the Area commander; an action that greatly offended Bello,” Everbless said. His insistence on pursing legal redress has now turned the tables against him. The matter was brought before the Ikeja family court on the 14th of April but instead of a case of assault, the Bello had filed a case of affray in court and joined Ajayi, Samuel and Faith, as accused persons.

“I was warned that I would regret my decision and Bello made good his threat. On the day of the arraignment, imagine my surprise when I looked into the court and saw Faith and Samuel crying. I was outside and did not know that my siblings were now accused persons and were to be remanded in Kirikiri until their bail conditions had been met. Before my eyes, Faith was handcuffed,” Everbless recalled. With his lawyer unavailable, Everbless despondently left the court premises.

“I didn’t know what to do, I was confused. I was still on the road when the Bello called me and said I should come and pick Samuel from the Area G command. It was later I learnt that Samuel was rejected by the prison warden that accompanied the Black Maria” Everbless explained. Being under aged, Samuel was to have been taken to a remand home but when the prison warden saw his swollen arm, he immediately rejected the boy. “Then Samuel’s right arm was so swollen, he couldn’t wear a shirt. When the warden saw the wound on his shoulder, he ordered the Bello to take Samuel back,” Everbless said. Ajayi is currently said to be remanded at the Kirikiri prison.

“Samuel has suffered both physically and emotionally. He is still unable to use his right hand as a result of that assault. Although he went back to school and tried to write his second term exams soon after the incident, he has since been unable to go back because of his hand,” Everbless lamented.

On his part, Samuel could barely speak to CRIME DIGEST; it seemed all his strength was geared towards enduring the pain he lives with. His right hand hung by his side stiff in a stiff position while he bore his neck stiffly too.

A source at the Ikeja Family Court told CRIME DIGEST that a witness summons had been ordered for Bello as he did not turn up for the last hearing on May 23. “The magistrate cancelled the bail that had been set for Samuel when his lawyer presented the facts. The court has directed Samuel to receive medical attention from LASUTH. The case has been adjourned to June 27 and the matter referred to the Directorate for Public Prosecution,” the source said.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Samuel Jinadu, however said the story brought before the police was a case of affray. “Samuel and Ajayi were both charged with affray; both parties were involved in a fight,” Jinadu said. www.facebook.com/emmanuelsamuko

BIG BROTHER AFRICA: Game over for Mozambique as Michael is evicted.

Mozambique has been having one housemate after Herminio opted out of the Big Brother game a few days before the start of Africa’s most popular reality TV show. This left Mozambique with one housemate who was so far playing the game so well but Africa thought otherwise and made it 28 days as opposed to the 91 days.
Michael loves spending time with quiet people and this does not come as a surprise because in his first week, the chemistry had developed for Sharon who happens to be quiet and therefore the best choice for Michael.
He tried Sharon as much as possible but as you may be aware, Sharon is a mother and the hubby is glued on TV watching every step so it was not going to be that easy for Michael.
It was as though he knew that he will be leaving very soon, so he decided to launch an attack on whoever could cross his way. Noticing that Sharon was proving to be a hard nut to crack, he turned his guns to Nkuli from South Africa.
With Nkuli, he had managed to get a hug though he indeed ‘amplified’ the hug to include kissing something that did not go down well with Nkuli. Just last Monday, Sharon O, Vina, Bernadina, Hanni and Confidence were up for eviction but Vimbai who is the out going HoH saved Hanni from Ethiopia and put Mozambique’s Michael in her place.
Surprisingly, our gal Sharon O and Vina got the most country votes as Confidence from Ghana, Vina from Nigeria and Bernadina from Namibia got one vote each from their respective countries.

German Police Kills Nigerian Woman

Mrs. Christy Schwundeck nee Omorodion, (pictured above) was shot and killed by the German police in Frankfurt, Germany on the 19th May 2011 and Frankfurt police say - she was shot in self defence'. She is survived by an 11 year old daughter, Miss Jessica Omorodion, and husband, Mr. Peter Schwundeck among others.
A lady (The deceased) stabbed a policewoman with a knife in the stomach, and injured her arm as well, then comes the shot: the colleague of the policewoman shoots and the lady drops, a while later she dies in hospital.

Behind this bloody drama was stress over money between the lady who was shot and the personal of the job centre. The lady wanted her monthly allowance paid directly in cash to her and not into her bank account as is the cash. She was told it was not possible and that escalated the problem and the police was called in.
A police speaker says ''a lady customer had problems with her job and didn't want to leave the premises, she made a lot of noise and was spoiling things in sight''.
As the police came, they asked her to show her legal papers and instead of that she brought out an 11centimeter long knife out of her bag and tried to stab the police lady. The police lady shouts to her colleague ''be careful she has a knife!''  The lady was shot after stabbing the police lady and now the rest is history! Investigations are still on-going.

BIG BROTHER AFRICA:Tension in the House

Vina, Confidence, Bernadine, Hanni and Sharon O are on edge right now as none of them knows who will be kicked of the Big Brother Amplified show tomorrow (Sunday).

Incidentally, the head of the house used her power to save Hanni from possible eviction and replaced her with Michael, the ladies man, who doesn’t even have the slightest feeling he would go.

Nigeria’s Vina is ‘dying’ for Lomwe, who seems to be attracted to Hanni.

Just before midnight on Tuesday evening, Confidence and Hanni sat outside and told Vina not to allow herself to be used by Lomwe in his effort to make Hanni jealous.

They were of the opinion that his affection for Vina was not genuine, but a ploy to get her sympathy and play the game into his hands.

The girls told Vina to draw a line and make Lomwe know where her loyalty lies. Confidence reiterated the fact that if Vina fell for Lomwe’s charms, she could find herself in a very awkward situation.

Hanni said it was obvious to her that Lomwe flirting with Vina in front of her was just his way of being in control of the situation, knowing that Vina likes him and might jump at the opportunity of dating him after Hanni rejected him. www.facebook.com/emmanuelsamuko
