Elizabeth Hurley's divorce from Indian businessman Arun Nayar was finalized on Wednesday, June 15 at a London court.
The two married in March 2007 at an English castle and Elton John gave the bride away. They later had a traditional Hindi wedding in India.
The 46-year-old British actress filed for divorce in April, citing what she called Nayar's "unreasonable behavior." He has not commented. In December 2010, Hurley said on her Twitter page that she and Nayar had separated several months earlier. She has since been romantically linked to Australian cricket player Shane Warne.
The divorce decree was granted at a brief hearing in London but Hurley and Nayar did not attend it in person, the Associated Press said.
Hurley and Nayar have no children together. This was the first marriage for the actress, who has a 9-year-old son named Damian from a previous relationship with film producer Steve Bing.
Hurley is known for her roles in movies such as "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" and "Bedazzled". She was cast as a villain in the NBC pilot "Wonder Woman," which was produced earlier this year but was ultimately dropped.
