It must get boring wearing a football kit day in, day out so Didier Drogba decided to try something new for a change.
The Chelsea footballer was partying at the Oktoberfest over the weekend and decided to get in the spirit of things and don some lederhosen.
The 33-year-old Ivorian native certainly didn't seem embarrassed about his choice of attire and was surrounded by friends who wore similar outfits.

Drogba was in Munich to enjoy the 178th edition of the German festival where visitors drink local beer and gorge on a variety of traditional food over 17 days.

The sportsman - who has played for Chelsea FC since 2004 - looked comfortable in the beige swede shorts and still had a variety of females surrounding him.

The traditional German garment is considered to be work wear or leisurewear for working-class men.
They are often short or knee-length and have braces that buckle up either side.
Drogba opted for a knee length pair that are also known as bundhosen and didn't do a half-hearted job of dressing up as he finished off his outfit with a short sleeved white shirt and a brown pair of shoes with white ankle socks on show.

The player was joined by Wigan Athletic footballer , Steve Gohouri - who also joined in on the lederhosen fun -  and football agent, Rui Alves, who opted for a blue and white gingham shirt minus the decorative braces.
The men had their choice of attractive women at the festival as they sipped on glass tankards full of local beer.

At one point, Drogba even stopped to pose for a photo with a blonde fan and looked deep in conversation when he met with former goalkeeper, Jens Lehmann.
The retired sportsman was in the Hippodrome tent at the festival and took time to shake hands and converse with Drogba and his group of friends.
However, although Lehmann is German, he decided against the traditional dress and wore a pair of brown cord trousers and a white shirt instead.

The unusual meet must have been entertaining for onlookers as the pair once had a famous scuffle back in 2007 at Stamford Bridge when Lehmann was goalkeeper for Arsenal.
During the match, Drogba fell down like a sack of potatoes and at the merest hint of a shrove from Lehmann - who is known for his sense of humour - he then repeated the trick when Drogba delivered his only slight tap.
But it looked like that was all water under the bridge as they indulged in some good old-fashioned fun.
