But yesterday Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver put their differences behind them as the family reunited to celebrate the former Californian governor's 64th birthday.

However, it is not clear if she was just there to drop off her two sons, Patrick and Christopher, or whether she stayed for the celebrations.
Schwarzenegger looked smart in a pair of tan trousers and black top as he spent time with his sons in California.
Earlier in the day, the former actor took to his bike today to go for a ride around Santa Monica, California with a couple of friends in a low-key start to his special day.
Dressed casually in a white T-shirt and grey shorts, the father-of-four looked like he has been taking his stress and frustration out at the gym and looked in pretty good shape.

Yesterday, Maria went out shopping with her two sons in Los Angeles - maybe to buy their father a birthday present as she is said to be keen for her children to continue to have a close relationship with him.
