Oprah Winfrey has issued an apology for using her huge following on Twitter to try to sway TV ratings.
The talk-show host told her nine million Twitter followers on Monday to tune in to a new episode of Oprah's Next Chapter on her cable network OWN rather than the Grammy awards, US media reported.
"Every 1 who can please turn to OWN especially if u have a Neilsen [sic] box," she was reported to have tweeted.
