Access Bank Sacks 1, 500 staff of Intercontinental Bank

As a result of the completion of the acquisition of Intercontinental Bank Plc by Access Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc on January 27th terminated the employment of 1, 500 employees of Intercontinental Bank and also shut down some branches of Intercontinental Bank nationwide for 'non-performance'.
