Killer pictured walking down the road with 13-inch knife he had just used to murder his girlfriend

From Daily Mail UK:

This is the chilling moment a killer high on drink and drugs strolled down the street clutching the 13-inch knife he had just used to murder his girlfriend.
Addict Martin Shaw stabbed mother-of-one Danielle Thomson 20 times in the chest in a frenzied attack at their home in Chaddesden, Derbyshire.
He then threw a duvet over the 22-year-old and walked out holding the murder weapon, saying he had 'left her for dead', according to bystanders.

With the help of witnesses, police traced the 34-year-old to his brother's house within 30 minutes, where they found him covered in blood.
Shaw was jailed for life at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday after pleading guilty to murdering his partner.

Paul Mann, prosecuting, told the court that Shaw's brother had said his sibling was 'hyperactive' when he arrived.
Mr Mann said: 'The defendant kept saying to his brother "she's dead, she's dead, no one is going to have her now".'
Shaw had been due to be sentenced for assault on August 6, the day before the murder, having attacked a man with a baseball bat.

But he failed to turn up to Derby Crown Court, breaching his bail conditions to binge on amphetamines and alcohol at home.
The couple argued at a friend's house, after Miss Thomson said she would leave him if he was jailed over the assault.

Shaw grabbed a knife and stormed back home to wait for her, launching his vicious assault on the slim young woman when she returned.
Miss Thomson screamed 'I thought you loved me?' as he stabbed her to death, while her mother Marion Lee, who lived with the couple, ran for help.
