Arnie may well have made his biggest confession to date this year.
But the former California Governor can a least seek solace at church, where he was welcomed with open arms today.
The 64-year-old actor was spotted attending a Catholic service in Santa Monica with his estranged wife Maria Shriver.

She has filed from divorce from the Terminator star after he admitted earlier this year to fathering love child Joseph with their former maid Mildred Baena 14 years ago.
Today Arnie and Maria made a family appearance at the service along with their 13-year-old son Christopher.

Afterwards, the Austrian-born star was seen getting a hug and kiss from the priest outside the church.

Arnie was dressed in jeans and a leather jacket, while Maria wore black leather knee-high boots, leggings and a tuxedo jacket.
They put aside their differences to chat with fellow worshippers outside, before leaving together.
Arnold is currently shooting a movie in New Mexico called The Last Stand.
The movie, set for release in 2013, will be Schwarzenegger's first stab at a Western and will see him play Sheriff Ray Owens.

It will no doubt come as a welcome distraction for the actor following the upheaval this year following his split from Maria.
Back in May, he released a statement apologising for his indiscretion, saying: 'I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends
and family.

'There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.'
