Anyim Pius Anyim Named Secretary To Government of the Federation

 

One time former senate president , Anyim Pius Anyim, has been appointed as the new  Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF)

He succeeds Mr. Ahmed Yayale. Mr. Anyim's appointment which was announced today brings to a close speculations about who Goodluck Jonathan would chose for the position.

Presidency sources said Mr. Jonathan chose Mr. Anyim over  former foreign affairs minister, Ojo Maduekwe.
 Some politicians from  the Southeast were upset that zone was relegated to producing the SGF.
